“Recalibrating Afrikanistik” (RecAf) and the Graduate School Global and Area Studies (GSGAS), University of Leipzig, invite young researchers and lecturers working in the broader fields of African and Area Studies for a two-day workshop on the procedures of writing grant proposals.

The project aims to foster academic exchange and support and promote young scholars from German and African universities, to give them the opportunity to develop their own ideas, engage in a critical reflection on existing modes of knowledge production and dialogues that can shape the future of the discipline and contribute to African/ Area Studies.
