In 2016, Shungu started her blog, ZimbOriginal, with the simple goal of researching and sharing information on Zimbabwe's culture and indigenous practices. Now, more than eight years later, what began as a simple hobby continues to evolve into an impactful entity committed to advancing the Shona language. Throughout her journey, Shungu has faced her fair share of disappointments and failures, but she believes these experiences have been integral in bringing her closer to mastery of her trade.
