Since current travel restrictions are preventing face-to-face exchange between RecAf partners and associates, we initiated a Reading Group that takes place online on a monthly basis. This forum gives all participants the opportunity to share current works, have critical discussions and engage in conversations across the different universities. With topics ranging from innovative approaches to (trans)languaging to negotiations of Pan-Africanism in recent Kiswahili literature, and many more to come, this virtual Reading Group holds great potential for exchange in a time where new encounters are to unfold online.
